Free Knitting Pattern: Button Up Coffee Sweater

This tall coffee sweater is very cute and trendy and is a really easy quick knit.  Please use this pattern for personal use only...also please remember that my blog does have a "donate" button and you are more than welcome to donate any amount to keep these patterns coming :)

You will need:
Scrap yarn (bulky): aprrox 50 grams
Size 5mm needles
2 medium size buttons
Tapestry needle to sew in loose ends

Cast on 19 stitches and knit in garter stitch until piece measures 8 1/2 inches long.
For button hole row knit 3 sts, bind off 3 sts, knit 7 sts, BO 3 sts, knit 3 sts
Next row: knit 3 sts, cast on 3 sts, knit 7 sts, cast on 3 sts, knit 3 sts.
Knit 5 more rows in garter stitch then bind off loosely, sew in loose ends.

  3. Thanks so much for the pattern. I guessed & came up with my on that I made for water bottles & canned drinks. Never thought about the button hole, that is so cute. I decorated mine with embroidered flowers & things.
