Cabled Wristlets

I love wristlets, I think they add a ton of character to any outfit, great for when you are adding layers too. You have many options when making them, colour combinations, stitch patterns, different lengths, it's all pretty fool proof when it comes to knitting a pair.

Wrislets, like fingerless gloves come in handy when doing many different activities, like:

photography,
gardening,
biking,
driving,
walking the dog,
knitting,
playing musical instruments,

Basically any activity that requires the use of your hands in cooler weather. I found a design that I wanted to share with you all. I would consider this an easy pattern, especially if you are new to making cables this is a pattern for you! This pattern knits up quickly and you can be wearing a pair by the next day if need be. I loved it, and I hope you do too! Happy knitting :)

  3. Give it a try, these are a great project for working on cables! These, or a coffee cozy, that is.

I have made these, too, using a kit from Lion Brand, so I it was my first time using a cashmere blend, which was heavenly.

I found that they aren't quite big enough for my hands if I tack it together for the thumb section as the pattern suggests. Also, the next pair, I will just do with dpns so I don't need to bother with the seam.
