I have been busy the last couple of days making a few new items that I could present to the judges of a museum craft show that will be happening in the fall of this year. I have never been "judged" before prior to entering a craft sale...but I guess I can understand. I am happy to say that I was excepted and now will have to begin building LOTS of stock, this is always hard to do because knitting is so labour intensive, but I do love doing it! This show will see over 2000 shoppers over the course of two days...not bad.
These are some photos of my newest creations, the lacy cowl turned out well and a added a couple of vintage buttons from my thrifting finds last week. The fishy cat toys were fun to make though they did take a fair amount of work to felt, stuff, embroider and stitch up. I would have to say the I received the most enjoyment out of making the hair clips...they were super easy, affordable and turned out really cute!
